Who is My Essay Geeks?
We checked out the “About Us” page at My Essay Geeks. Here’s what we found…
My Essay Geeks says they’ve been around for ten years. That would mean they were established in 2012, right? The oldest review we could find was from 2016.
Look at the image above (taken from the website). My Essay Geeks claims to have 1,389 writers. To put this in perspective, an average for a reputable essay service might be around 25-50 writers. So, either that number is wildly inflated, or they are outsourcing all of their work. It’s fishy either way.
How Much is a Paper?
Let’s see if that $32 holds up as we move further into the ordering process…
We stopped at this point, and didn’t actually order a paper. But from what we can see, yes, the price is $32 per page with 2 days’ notice. That’s higher than a lot of other services, so it comes down to their quality. If the quality is great, $32 isn’t crazy.
My Essay Geeks actually rates best on Sitejabber for online essay writing services.
We also checked Trustpilot, but they have very few reviews as you’ll see below.
Trustpilot only gives My Essay Geeks 3.5 stars. The complaints seem to revolve around missed deadlines and quality.
Pros & Cons:
- Courteous chat agents
- Ranks high on certain review sites
- Has been around since 2016
- Need to provide way too much information upfront (to access chat or get a quote)
- British spelling/wording might stand out to professors
My Essay Geeks rates really high on some review sites, like Sitejabber. They have friendly chat agents. They have been around since 2016. Those are pretty good points.
On the negative side, we aren’t sure where they’re actually located. They claim to be in the states, but there are definitely things that make us think UK. You can do some homework and see what you think. We wouldn’t care if they’re in the UK, but we just expect essay services to be 100% honest with customers about location.
The other thing to be careful with, is that we see a lot of British spelling/wording on the site and with chat agents, along with in review replies on sites like Sitejabber. Because of this, your paper could get tagged with a professor as “suspicious.” So, just review anything you get from these guys before handing it in.
