Who is Essay Review Box?

The chat agent told us they’re located in Florida. She didn’t name a particular city, only that they are in Florida. When we checked their IP address location, it showed as being in Iceland. So, it is highly unlikely this is an American-based company.

When we asked Olivia, the chat agent, if the writers are from the US, here is what she told us.

How Much is a Paper?

The homepage shows a per-page rate of $12, but you quickly see that with a reasonable deadline of a couple days, you aren’t touching that rate.

Olivia told us to fill out the order form, though, and submit it (which you have to provide an email to do) and then they would send us a more concrete quote. Our prompt was for a 1-page book report on “Emma” for high school, with a 2-day deadline.

We waited, but as of the time of publishing this review, Essay Box hadn’t gotten back to us with any quotes. We will update the review with their quote once it comes in.

Best Feature:

The feature that stands out to us is that there are so many online reviews. Even the best essay writing services we’ve reviewed haven’t had this many reviews on Trustpilot and Sitejabber. That is a good thing for Essay Box! It shows that they have a real customer base, even if not all of the customers are happy.

4. Con: Long wait time for a real price quote (bid)
5. Con: Appear to be a foreign company (Iceland) disguised as a US-based service

Our Verdict:

Essay Box has been around at least for a little while based on the reviews we found. Their prices are not as low as they initially make you think, but they’re still in line with the industry average.

The biggest pause for thought we found is that the company’s domain is registered in Iceland. This means that they’re most likely based in a foreign country, not North America.

If you try these guys out, be sure to request a native English-speaking writer and be prepared to pay more for him/her.
